Traffic light poles and camera poles play a crucial role in road security by monitoring road safety and enforcing car driving regulations.

Common traffic light poles have a height of 6 meters and can be extended with arms ranging from 1 meter to 18 meters. These arms provide a mounting location for traffic lights and cameras, enabling effective monitoring and regulation of traffic.

The traffic light poles are typically constructed as monolithic structures and undergo a hot-dip galvanization process for corrosion resistance. The surface treatment conforms to Chinese standard GB/T 13912-2002 or American standard ASTM A123 or AS/NZS 4680:2006. Additionally, the poles can be powder coated or painted based on customer requirements.

Traffic poles come in various types such as octagonal, polygonal, round, equal diameter pipe, reducer pipe, conical, and more. These designs provide structural strength and stability to the poles.

The welding of the traffic light poles adheres to the AWS D1.1 standard. The poles are welded using the automatic method of CO2 welding or submerged arc welding. The welding process ensures that there are no cracks, scars, overlaps, layers, or other defects. Both internal and external welding are done to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the poles. If customers have specific welding requirements, the manufacturing process can be adjusted accordingly.

The base plate of the traffic light pole is typically square or round in shape and has slotted holes for anchor bolts. The dimensions of the base plate can be customized according to the client's requirements.

Traffic light poles can be categorized into different types based on their specific purposes, including motor vehicle signal light poles, non-motorized vehicle signal light poles, pedestrian crossing signal light poles, direction indicator light poles, lane signal light poles, flashing warning signal light poles, and road and railway intersection signal light poles. These different types of poles serve various functions in regulating and guiding traffic on the roads.
